Elopement Ceremonies
For couples who want the whole world to disappear, if only for a moment.
An elopement ceremony is one of the most intimate and intentional choices a couple can make — just the two of you, the words that matter, and nothing else. Kathryn has conducted elopement ceremonies across London, from the banks of the Thames to the quiet corners of Kew Gardens, and is equally at home in the Scottish Highlands, the south of France, or wherever your story takes you.
Every elopement is planned with the same care and attention as a full ceremony. The difference is simply the scale — and the extraordinary sense of privacy that comes with it.
Kathryn is available to travel worldwide.
Elopement ceremonies from £1, 600. International travel enquiries welcome.

Documentary Filming Services
The Documentary Experience
Some love stories deserve more than photographs.
Through Kathryn's connections within the television industry, a small number of couples each year are offered the opportunity to have their ceremony journey captured on film — from the earliest planning conversations through to the day itself.
With Kathryn both presenting and producing the narrative, the documentary is guided by a professional broadcaster from start to finish. This might include Kathryn on camera introducing your story, intimate interviews with the two of you, conversations with family and friends, and an intimate behind-the-scenes look at how your ceremony was crafted — every layer of it told with the warmth and precision of someone who was there for all of it.
The result is a beautifully produced keepsake: personal, cinematic, and entirely yours. Wedding day filming can be incorporated as part of the full experience.
Available to a limited number of couples each year. Prices from £2,000 — enquire for availability.
Frequently asked questions
-
A humanist wedding is a completely non-religious, personally tailored celebration that is welcoming and inclusive. Rather than following a fixed script, it focuses on your love story and the things that matter most to you as a couple. I conduct wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships, vow renewals and divorce ceremonies, and every ceremony can include unique vows, readings, poems, music and rituals such as handfasting or symbolic knot-tying. Unlike a civil or register office ceremony, it can take place anywhere that feels significant to you, and can be as small and intimate or as large and celebratory as you like.
-
A registry office ceremony follows a fixed, standardised script with very limited scope for personalisation, it's a legal formality rather than a celebration of you as a couple. A humanist ceremony is the opposite: it's written entirely around your story, your relationship, and the people who matter most to you. You can include your own vows, readings, music, rituals and humour, and hold it wherever feels meaningful, rather than a register office room on a fixed timetable. Couples often tell me it's the part of their wedding day their guests remember and talk about the most.
